Unfilled
Jesus, thou joy of loving hearts,
Thou Fount of life, thou Light of men,
From the best bliss that earth imparts
We turn unfilled to thee again
We are thankful that despite challenges, we continue to grow in the grace, knowledge and love of God. We see growth in our love towards each other as a family and extending to those around us. In the past month we have been privileged to have a few visitors. Some dear friends from WI drove down for a weekend. Also, Pastor Levi and his wife from Tinley Park, IL, took time from their schedule to have dinner in our RV. They were in town for the Reformed Episcopal Church Diocesan Synod.
We have experienced, the fall rains, the winter rains and are now entering the spring rains! We did not know Texas was such a rainy state. We have been informed the weather is abnormal!
Ed took his second-semester Greek mid-term last week. He is writing papers for his February class, Scripture and Hermeneutics. Last weekend he took the March class, Doctrines of God, Christ and Atonement. He is feeling a bit behind and is hoping to be able to complete all these papers in a timely fashion, while still learning Greek!
We are making plans for Esther's schooling for next year and appreciate prayers for wisdom in decision making.
We are looking forward to a visit from Melissa's parents! Esther is thrilled that grandma and grandpa are coming and will be able to watch her ride her bike!
Abnormal precipitation seems to be an epidemic in most of the states. The thaw is upon us here in southern and north-central Wisconsin and the rain last night was torrential with more on the way. Thus far, basements at both houses are dry and we are thankful. Bruce's careful grading of the yards is paying off. Still miss our Thursday lunches but as summer approaches, we are considering a trip to Missouri and am wondering how much longer a trip it would be to see you? Keeping you in prayer. Hugs to all! Love from Bruce and Jo
